Roadmap to Greatness: Vision 2020. Part I

Choice greetings beloved brothers and sisters and welcome to myFather’s House (MFH) this beautiful Sunday. I also welcome you to the month of November. It’s been an awesome journey so far, and with a few more weeks, 2019 would be gone paving way for 2020! Our theme for the remaining part of the year is “Roadmap to Greatness-Vision 2020.”

Lately, I have been thinking about life, death, vision and my legacy. What do I want to be remembered for? What do you want to be remembered for? How will this world, our church, our relationships, our family etc  be different after we are gone? How do we attain the place of greatness.

According to chapter 4 of second Timothy, the Apostle Paul attained greatness by all standards. And in his final days, he declared that he was content that he finished the race, kept the faith and had no regrets, having put everything he had into serving God. The question is how do we get to this point of assurance at the end of our days and say that we have given everything and have no regrets? In chapter 2 of the same  second Timothy, Paul’s advice to Timothy was sort of a roadmap to get to that place of greatness.

Throughout the remaining part of this year at MFH, our focus will be on learning from the great Apostle Paul and the roadmap he gave on how to achieve greatness. We will have a strategic plan for building an enduring legacy. We shall sharpen our vision and be focused on it. We will reach our full potential of greatness because we will not settle for being good or average.  Join us on this great ride!
