Help From Above

Dearly Beloved, 

I welcome you to the fifth month of this year. We bless our God for being faithful at all times and in all situations. The number five symbolizes God’s grace, goodness, mercy, and favour towards humans. Grace multiplied by itself is 'grace upon grace' (John 1:16). We will all experience it this month and beyond in Jesus name. Our theme is “Help From Above.” God’s help will be available unto you in Jesus name.

Our world is a constant battlefield. Except God helps us, we will suffer defeat, humiliation, and shame. Without His divine help, we will be forgotten and abandoned by men. Psalm 121:1-2 says “I will lift mine eyes unto the hills, from whence comes my help. My help comes from the Lord, which made heaven and earth”. People seek help in different places, including from friends and relatives, but human efforts are limited.

Help from above is unlimited, and cannot be stopped by any mortal. It is help that causes you to be a wonder to many, that saves you from shame, that never fails (as it comes) on time, not too early and never too late. It is a help that fits the purpose it is meant to serve, that brings restoration, that removes all limitations from every aspect of your life.

A typical example is Joseph in Gen 40:9-14 - who needed help, but expected it to come from a man. He requested two simple things:  “don’t forget me, brother and mention my name to Pharaoh”. But that man forgot totally until God Himself orchestrated Joseph’s help from above, and made the man to remember later on. Would you not rather look up to God for help as David did in Psalm 121? I pray for you that from now on you shall not be forgotten. You will receive divine help in your jobs, finances, education, career, marriage and family. Even in your walk with God, you will be helped.
