I Can
Hello MFH Family! Welcome to June. Hallelujah to God.
Our theme for the month is “I can…” Prior to now, our focus was on knowing who we are in Christ Jesus (I am… series). Having discovered our identity in Christ, knowing what we are able to accomplish through His power and the ability He has bestowed on us follows.
Apostle Paul declared in his letter to the Philippians that, through the power and enabling grace of our lord Jesus Christ, he can do all things; including being able to adapt to all situations (Philippians 4:11-13). This should be the position of every child of God.
In this sinful world, we are sometimes faced with hard times but we should not lose hope because we can make it through. The Word of God assures us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that God is faithful, He will not allow us to pass through what we are not able to bear; and will also help us.
It is also possible that God gave you a vision; know that through His power, you can perform it. According to Habakkuk 2:3:
““the vision may be for a future time, it will be fulfilled. It may seem slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. it will not be delayed”.”
When God sets the plan in place, we must stay committed and faithful to Him. We must be focused on what the mission is and how God wants it to be carried out. He will give the grace to do it.
Regardless of whatever we have to go through, with the help of Jesus, we can make it. Yes we can! In the “I can series”, we will explore; I can do all things, I can overcome addictions, I can trust my Father and I can make a difference. Come along!
