Colors of Change
(2 Corinthians 3:18)
I graciously welcome you to May - the fifth month of the year. Our theme for the month is “Colors of change”. The phrase “April showers bring May flowers” is a popular saying that signifies the change of the season. We fully transition from the gloomy winter to the colors of spring. This month we will be examining the colors of change in line with the season change.
2 Corinthians 3:18 says “All of us! Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of His face. And so we are changed much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like Him” - MSG.
Change is colorful and beautiful but only if you embrace it. Change presents a chance to reevaluate and reinvent - stop doing what is not working, start doing things that work better, and keep doing the things that work well. It is the ultimate opportunity for transformation and a chance for a fresh start. Change is inevitable. God is calling to glow!
“When you are finished changing, you are finished”. - Benjamin Franklin
We need to change our approach to change and begin to see the beauty and colors that come with it. View change with a positive mindset and allow yourself to get a new perspective or learn something new. Take every change as a new adventure. What is your attitude to change?
As Christians, our change begins when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. That decision radiates into every aspect of our lives and begins to color it. This change becomes evident in how we relate to one another and how we choose to live. As we walk deeper with God, He also begins to radiate on us, change and beautify those areas that are not like Him. This is a change we should all desire and embrace.
In this series, we shall examine colors of change, colorful people, colorful mental capacity, changed from glory to glory, beauty & rest that comes with changing for the best.
