EXCEEDING ABUNDANT GRACE

“And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.”

(1 Timothy 1:14)

“God has the power to provide you with more than enough of every kind of grace [He is able to make all grace abound toward you], so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.” (2 Corinth 9:8)

“So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the exceeding abundant, surpassing wealth [riches] of His amazing and boundless grace toward us in Christ Jesus.”

(Ephesians 2:7)

And of His fullness have we all received, and grace for grace. (John 1:16)

Happy New Year!🎉🎉🎉🎉

With Jesus' joy and with gladness of heart, I welcome you into the year 2025. Hallelujah! I am so glad that we all made it. God is indeed good, and His mercy is renewed in our lives daily. All glory to Him. I believe that all of you are walking in the reality of divine acceleration. It is my prayer that no one will lose the grounds that were gained in the past year. It shall be forward and upward ever, backward never in Jesus’ name.

So what is the prophetic outlook for 2025? Apostle Paul in 1 Corinth 15:10 acknowledged that, in view of all his achievements in Christ, there was one force at play: grace. He knew his past, and it was obvious where grace had taken him to (1 Timothy 1:12-16). The Lord has ordained 2025 to be a year of grace, sufficient grace. Therefore, the prophetic theme for 2025 is EXCEEDING ABUNDANT GRACE. You may therefore boldly declare that “2025 is your year of exceeding abundant grace.”  Glory to God!

What is grace? Grace is divine empowerment; it is strength (2 Corinth 12:9). Grace is undeserved favour which is freely given and received, but not earned. Grace is when God gives us something good we don't deserve. Grace shows mercy; grace transforms (2 Corinth 5:17). We understand from Scriptures that there are many facets and dimensions to the divine force of grace. 2 Corinth 9:8 tells us that “God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.” This indicates that there is “every kind of grace.” There is the grace that brings salvation (Titus 2:11, Ephesians 2:8); it is grace that calls the unworthy, and qualifies the unqualified. There is also the grace for speed, the kind that rests upon a man and causes him to outrun, outperform, overtake, recover all, and break records. There is grace to keep forging ahead (2 Corinth 4:8-18); grace to conquer; grace to excel; grace to take bold steps; grace to prosper; grace to walk in favour that causes one to be preferred (Esther 2:15-17; Psalm 44:3). There is even grace for grace (John 1:16 KJV) or grace upon grace (as NIV puts it). This implies that God's grace is a constant, overflowing gift. Grace touches every aspect of human need—there is the grace to do, the grace to have, the grace to be[come].

The good news is that we all have access to whatever grace we need this new year. Hebrews 4:16 clearly tells us that we can always boldly approach God’s throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Do you need the sower’s grace (John 10:18) or the giving grace (2 Corinth 8:7)? Perhaps you need grace to serve God better and acceptably, or to live holy (Hebrews 12:28). Whatever your need, God’s grace is sufficient—you cannot exhaust His supply or overwhelm His graciousness with your need. However, we must remain humble, as God only gives grace to the humble (James 4:6)

This year, God is not only equipping us with grace for the journey ahead, He is pouring out grace in extraordinary abundance. He is releasing exceeding abundant grace—grace for grace (John 1:16; Ephesians 3:20). The year 2025 is divinely ordained to be a remarkable year for us all. The Lord is putting an end to struggles; He is causing His favour to shine upon us, and He will surpass our greatest expectations. This year, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit will rest and abide with us. I congratulate you once again on making it to 2025, and

I pray that the prophetic word for this year will be your reality in Jesus’ name.

In our series this month, we shall examine the secret of exceeding abundant grace; grace, mercy and favour; I shall not want and grace for abundance. Come along!
