Let us arise and build!

A blessed Sunday to you and a warm welcome to myFather’s House. It’s a new month! “Yesterday is gone, today is now! The just shall live by faith, arise and build!” With this quote, we welcome you to August - our month of capacity building. In Nehemiah 2, Nehemiah purposed to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem that were broken down and fallen, which has made the people of God to live without defense, and in despair.

Nehemiah met Jerusalem in a terrible state. There was so much rubbish, and so much debris that he could not even get past (Neh. 2:10–14). If your life situation can be likened to this, cheer up! The Master Builder is here to help you. In rebuilding the walls, Nehemiah took some steps and these actions will be true in rebuilding every aspect of your life. Whether you have a family or a business to build, these principles will be true. We have a church family to build, these principles will work.

Nehemiah Fixed his Focus, Found the Facts, Formed a Fellowship, Fortified his Faith, Faced the Foe and Fulfilled his Function. These are great eternal and vital principles which we will learn from this month. And they will guide us as we rebuild our spiritual, financial, career, academic, social and emotional life; and even the church of God (myFather’s House). Remember that you cannot build without a foundation, and that foundation is the Lord Jesus Christ.

Take a look at what Nehemiah said “The God of heaven will give us success. We His servants will arise and build…” (Neh. 2:20a). Friends, He’s going to supply strength, grace and all we need to be successful — praise His Holy Name.

Arise!!!
